Two-ply heads sound great, are durable and easy to tune. These heads are internally muffled to dampen both high overtones and overall resonance. The result is a much focused, low pitched sound with moderate attack and response characteristics that are ideal for creating a deeper, fatter, controlled drum sound in a variety of studio and live drumming situations. A unique sound-enhancing underlay zero ring retains the tonal clarity of traditional Ambassador sound, but with unparalleled resonance control. Powerstroke 3 series feature a thin underlay at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted overtones. This creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made Powerstroke 3 one of Remo's most preferred drumhead models. Includes 12", 13", 16" Pinstripe tom heads, a 22" Powerstroke 3 bass drum head, and 14" Coated Ambassador snare head. PLUS, you get a 2.5" white Falam bass drum impact patch to extend the life of the bass drum head.
